Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu Boasts Beautiful Renovations and Upgrades
Completed Over the Last Two Years, with More Improvements to Come!
March 2007
Warwick International
Hotels is pleased to announce the completion of extensive upgrades at
Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu. Enhancements have been completed, including
guest rooms, resort lobby, restaurants & bars, new cascading pools
with swim up bars, entry archway, and tropical landscaped gardens.
Over the past six months,
the resort has worked tirelessly on several of these improvements
including an impressive outdoor cascading pool that embraces
spectacular views of Erakor Lagoon. One of the main features of the
area is the swim-up pool bar where you can enjoy one of the resort’s
thirst quenching cocktails as you relax in the pool. Subtle lighting in
and around the pool turn this into the perfect spot for a romantic
evening dip.
A complete refurbishment
and one million dollar upgrade of the former Tam Tam restaurant, to be
reopened as Wild Ginger – an Asian fusion restaurant, has just been
completed. With a seating capacity of a little over 100, guests have a
choice of air-conditioned indoor dining or outdoor dining with views of
the resort’s landscaped gardens and Erakor Lagoon. An open exhibition
kitchen features two Tepanyaki grills, sushi bar, wok station, and char
grill. Specialities such as traditional stir-fries, spicy noodle
dishes, as well as Vanuatu’s world renowned char grilled Santo beef are
offered. All are available and lots more from Wild Ginger’s seasonal
changing ‘a la carte’ menu. The menu is a fusion of the freshest local
produce, with a selected range of up-market imported ingredients,
creating a combination of unique flavors from various parts of the
culinary world.
‘Our guests are the
most important focus at our resort and their comfort and satisfaction
were paramount to the scope of our renovations and updates’ says Tony Burns, General Manager. ‘With
our guests in mind, the following improvements were recently completed:
all 140 guest rooms have been fitted with new phones, clock radios, and
in-room laptop size safes. Other room enhancements over the past year
or so include new televisions with remote controls, Balinese designed
guest room furniture: including armoires, work desks, and bedside tables’ added Burns.
The resort’s lobby is now
even more inviting and welcoming than before. The entire lobby area
has been completely redesigned including marble floors, a spectacular
water feature and a black granite reception counter. To further enhance
the guests’ welcome, the new lobby bar provides a relaxing environment
for a lunchtime beverage, pre-dinner cocktail or late evening night
cap.
At Le Lagon Resort
Vanuatu, surrounded by the solace and beauty of land and sea, guests
can now enjoy many major enhancements to the resort’s landscape. There
is a beautiful new water fountain feature and manicured gardens adorn
the lobby entrance. The 12-hole golf course has been upgraded,
including improved greens, tee boxes and we now feature professional
brand golf sets and motorized golf carts. For those guests who enjoy
frolicking in or on the ocean, the hotel now offers a beautiful new
glass-bottom boat called the “Reef Lady”.
Le Lagon Resort Vanuatu is
the ideal location for a wedding, honeymoon, family holiday, or just a
well-deserved break from the hectic pace of the daily grind. The next
time you’re considering the perfect getaway destination, we are at your
service.
