The European’s name is a direct reflection of the cocktail list. Influenced by the international tastes and globe-trotting adventures of Master Barman Adam Wilson, the menu features mostly European spirits blended seamlessly with style and with a sensibility for creating fresh traditions.
Casey Thompson, former Top Chef contestant, makes her San Francisco culinary debut as Aveline’s Chef. Her delectable philosophy of choosing only the freshest seasonal ingredients from local farms, artisans and purveyors is the ideal counterpart to Aveline’s belief in preparing guests sophisticated yet approachable dishes brimming with complex flavours. Overhead, the glowing wood canopy and ambient lighting mirrors the lobby’s ironwork and helps define a cosy alcove.
